This demonstrates how Mozilla does not display 3D table borders as well in HTML 4 or XHTML as it does in HTML 3.2 unless you specify the border colour with inset and outset widths using CSS style attributes.
There is the option of specifying a border style of "ridge" (or "groove") as demonstrated in the first example, but this achieves a specific style that is not necessarily wanted.
